I did that once with a Barbie doll I had, i took all the face paint off and acetone and then made weeps for the hair out of like yarn that I ironed flat and then made it into a fairy.

All right, listeners, you're going to see pictures of both of our dolls. I might include the one that Bart and I did back in the day, back around this time, that we're going to be discussing soon. Anyway, trinity, my offspring, has. She plugged all the hair and you have to cut it off. You have to boil the head to get the fucking old hair out. She spent like hours, fucking hours, putting the hair in. For me I would have just like glued it on, because I do not have that level of patience.

I did like individual wefts, so I just took yarn and like unraveled it and then brushed it out flat, ironed it and then I put like little strips of tacky glue down onto a cellophane and like laid the hair on top of it and it actually made little wefts when you peeled it off. It gave you like enough glue on there to like make it stick. So then you make like a wig cap and then pull it off. It's like almost like making real hair. It's wow.

Well, yeah, that's, my offspring did the same thing, got the way to go about painting, stripping the paint off of the face, doing the hair. It's actually an interesting process that requires more patience than I have, at least the hair part. I'm willing to do all the rest. Anyway, speaking of Stephanie, as it pertains to what we're about to do right now, I was having one of our routine therapeutic coffee sessions. By the way, you guys, Stephanie knows this already.

Stephanie is my beautiful soul sister, fellow vampire, painter, tri-bleeder and vocalist for I Bleed Mercury, the one and only. Anyway, during the conversation, which is usually sprinkled with like an obscure and comedic undertone, she introduced an interesting case that involves a subculture. she and I continue to be part of vaporism, Though I do feel our interpretation of the concept has evolved from a place of ridiculed dark expression into an acceptance of mutual love of beautifully dark aesthetics, music authors such as Anne Rice, intricate antiques, Gothic architecture, poetry. There's no doubt that our innate childhood desire for those things became easier to cultivate in the 90s. Well, I mean, like in the 90s it was starting to become okay to be like that you know?

Well, I think it was the opposite. Actually, in the 90s it was sort of the satanic panic, That's when everybody was freaking out and putting their kids on TV and telling them that they had to go to these reform schools where they beat them and shit.

Yeah, yeah, the Bible Belt We're going to be going In this, that's true. but I moved from Worcester to Tampa and Tampa was welcoming that type of vibe. I didn't even know what the fuck Gothic was. You know, i had this like love for like Beetlejuice and horror movies and Gothic architecture and all of that stuff. but I didn't hear nine inch nails for my first time. I won't go to the castle for my first time or really partake in the actual culture. until I moved to Tampa I was like what's this? What's this? This magic in the air was fucking amazing.

So this case brought about like so much nostalgia. for that reason I'm like holy fuck. I feel like I was there, not in the Bible Belt, because even while such cultivation was like merely a subculture, like prolific, with pretentious Spencers, abiding posers, there's something magical to about no longer feeling aloof and alone with such unconventional cravings, particularly like in the urban inner cities. You were good, too, in New Jersey. Massachusetts was good, because once I discovered it in Tampa, i went back and forth between Mass and Tampa and it was becoming a thing up there too. That's what made this particular case so intriguing, unlike us who were fortunate to find ourselves in the more liberal East side of the country. this case takes us on the Bible Belt during the 90s, and its prominent villain, cult leader Rod Ferrell, was merely a few years older than us. How old was he? He was born in 1980. by the fuckers in areas like me too, that was quite a few years older than me.

I mean I've heard of him before, I've heard about this case not his name, really, but this case But I've listened to so many true crime podcasts that I really can't remember much about the case. You know what I mean. It's like when you watch a ton of movies and you try to like somebody's, like do you know this movie? And I'm always like, uh, by the title. But if you actually put the movie on, then I'll remember stuff. You know what I'm saying.

Yes yes, i can't get away from it, i'm sorry So. Roderick, aka Rod Farrell, was born on March 28th 1980 in Murray, kentucky, to Sandra Gibson. While he became known as an American murder and cult leader of a gang of teenagers from Murray, kentucky, known as the Vampire Clan, and professed himself to be a 500-year-old vampire named Vassago That's kind of sexy Vassago by the time he became arrested and a convicted felon for murder, burguely and armed robbery, he partook in a really sad and dark upbringing. So Sandra and Rob's father, Rick Farrell, were high school sweethearts and they were married and pregnant only a year and a half into their adolescent union. However, as it is in the case of most young marriages and pregnancies, especially during the early 80s, their marriage didn't last long. In fact, in 1981, divorce rates peaked at 5.3 divorces per 1,000 people, which was more than 1.2 million people in the country at the year. During that time It was just kind of sad.

Yesterday this is just a sidebar, because that made me think of it During Mother's Day I went to my sister Lily's and her husband threw a Cheetos and down her pants and she's like, did you just throw a Cheetos in my ass? And my sister's father-in-law was sitting right across the table and he was like totally unfazed And he looks at him and he goes so what's your favorite kind of cheese? Like it never happened.

But the idea of putting cheese in my ass is at the front of my mind now. So, anyway, and thanks for allowing that opportunity. This left Sandra, a 16-year-old divorcee, to raise Rod alone While Rick joined the military. He's like I'm bouncing, i'm getting the fuck out of here. It was alleged that Sandra had mental illnesses which precipitated her constantly uprooting and relocating their lives, her bringing many random men into their homes and occasionally working as a prostitute to provide for the two of them. Before we go hating on her, you know some of the cases that we did regarding these young moms taking to prostitution and having mental illnesses. I empathize with her.

Yeah, i mean a lot of times heart-raising kids when you don't have no money. Some of these women, hey, they got to get out there and do their thing. Unfortunately, it does mess up kids a lot of the times when they see it. You know when you're doing sex work, but, yes, you know what are you going to do. Sometimes It's very poverty-stricken, i think in Kentucky, isn't it?

Yes, it is And it's on. I mean, kentucky is, it's a whole beast of its own. I've only been there a few times, and one time we rented a house on the river which was incredibly cheap And, as you were, like you know, driving around that town like they had schools that had bent fences and they were selling clothes, and then there were homes that didn't have roofs you know they were people actually living in them, because you can see smoke coming out of them.

Yeah, see, I don't know much about Kentucky but I picture it like maybe be in, like a farm place, right.

Yeah, And it's. When I say it's on the Bible Belt, it's like on the buckle of the belt. Regarding the Bible Belt, Yeah, Okay. So I have to give you perspective of, like you know, we've done a lot of cult shit. So around this area, for instance, there's like one church per 300 fucking people. Oh, okay. So I mean to give you like perspective on what you know being a vampire in this area must have been like.

Right, right, you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah, good point. Rod made a convincing claim that he was sexually molested by his grandfather and witnessed a vampiric ritual human sacrifice at five, and he was already becoming interested in the darker things in life before he made it to middle school. At this point of the story, i was ready to befriend this dude and call him the kindred spirit, because some of his childhood resonated with my own, despite knowing that I was doomed to learn that he was going to become a piece of shit and murder. So I kept that like there in the front of my mind. While feeling this. I'm like yeah, don't get too attached, wendy, this guy's a fuck up.

So right now. It sucks like when that happens.

So it was Rod's mother, sandra, who first introduced a gothic punk role playing game to him. They aim to like spend their evenings dealing with vampire life and the vampire struggles and such. Thus began his obsession with becoming the vampire he pretended to be in this role playing game. That's where Visago derived from, and Visago, by the way, is the prince of hell.

And also an Italian cheese And a purse A hellish purse. So as he reached high school he began taking this vampiric persona to the next level. He incorporated many of the fun and accessible vampire novelties that we goths did too Like. He played vampire games, watched vampire movies, read vampire novels and jammed out to industrial tunes. And he was into typical occult shit like upside down crosses, which has always been kind of silly to me. The upside down cross was first known as the cross of St Peter, who felt unworthy of being crucified in the same upright manner as Jesus Did. You know that?

When I see upside down crosses on people's foreheads, I think that you know that he did the typical occult shit that we all did, And so I thought that that was kind of cool. But, however, this is where he begins to exhibit the piece of ship behavior that separates him from the vampires, punks, grungers, ravers, tiff, metalheads and goths that we rolled with in the 90s. For instance, he started doing sick shit like torturing innocent animals such as neighborhood cats, And while he was using hard drugs he would cut himself. So he was a cutter animal, torture and using hard drugs already, like at the beginning, right when he started high school. Okay, So let's talk a little bit about that coven. What is a vampire without his coven, right? Right, Well, I?

Yeah, well, they both do What is a coven without a bromance To create it. So Rod eventually became too much for his mother to handle, despite her failed attempts to find him help once she realized how far she'd spun out of control. So he moved in with his friend Jayden. He and Jayden met in high school in 1995. They were both already partaking in the same aesthetic And due to being similar to each other yet, anomalies, amid their Bible thumping Kentucky schoolmates, they almost became rivals. But instead they decided to join forces and they spent time off the school premises to partake in vampire activities.

Keep in mind that these kids were choosing this alternative lifestyle in an area, like I said earlier, that has a church every few hundred people. So it took a lot of balls for them to, you know, pull from those ancient cults and create a contrasting cult of their own. Yeah, so Jayden had already cultivated a small coven of alleged vampires before Rod's arrival, but Rob seemed to fit the part perfectly as far as they were concerned and he was quickly included in their endeavors. Rod, who was already accustomed to the dark world, became immediately consumed with the occult concept And after finally finding his place among fellow vampires and no longer alone. That was it for him. Rod was communicated into Jayden's coven using a simple ritual at their ceremonial tree at a local cemetery where he was expected to drink Jayden's blood, and vice versa. So they took razors and they cut each other open and they drank from each other until the cut stopped bleeding, according to sources Ew.

I'm going to plead the fifth, so once the drinking commenced, rod was told that there was no turning back and that he was part of them. Forever, bffs, forever, we drink each other's blood. Okay, there were a couple of rules that he was expected to follow as an official member of the cult. Number one pledge complete loyalty and obedience to his vampiric family. And two prioritize their needs above all else. There were some intriguing aspects of the coven, like sex and blood rituals, and for the most part they were seemingly a harmless group that propagated rumors among their schoolmates and neighbors, but that was under Jayden's rule and that was like how things were before Rod showed up. The cult believed, before Rod showed up, that drinking blood would commence spiritual and physical transformation, but they still believed that human life was sacred, while their blood and sexual fetishes led them to have a false sense of grandeur regarding their place on the evolutionary ladder, meaning they believed themselves to have gifts such as ESP. Murder wasn't even a consideration for any of them, nor was torturing animals, for that matter. That was until they unwittingly led a psychopath in their midst.

It wasn't long before Rod's remorseless colors started to show. First, he reverted to his sick animal torturing ways by torturing and killing a defenseless kitten in front of Jaden. Jaden was sickened by the behavior and he took a step back to reassess who he led into their circle. While Jaden led a rebellious and dark lifestyle, the consenting individuals. He wasn't about hurting the innocent. This began the separation of their bromance, so to speak, because Rod wanted nothing to do with morals or fundamental restrictions, as most psychopaths don't. So a few months after this kitten incident which, by the way, this made this was hard for me to read, it was hard for me to write and I did leave out some of the gory details because it was just I couldn't sleep after reading this. So a few months after the kitten incident, rod led some cult members into an animal sanctuary. They freed the larger dogs and began torturing the remaining puppies by gutting them, cutting off their limbs, cutting off their paws, bathing and drinking in the defenseless animals blood.

Man. It's awful. See, you can't be hurting dogs, man. I mean cats too, but you know I mean I'm more of a dog person myself. Just don't think that you should be. Dogs are like the most loyal animals in the whole world And again, i'm not taking nothing away from the cat Their angels to me is like the worst thing you can do.

They're angels And you know for the listeners out there. When I got to this part, i know that Tiffany feels this way, so I called her up for console. I was like Tiffany, i'm like this case just fucked with me. And then I told her what happened. And then it was fucking with her too. But she's such a good friend, she consoled me anyway, hey thank you for that.

Kids and animals. That's my weak spot. Yeah, they're tough. Those that weren't cut apart were killed by being slammed against the ground. And just think about it too. They didn't want to fuck with the big dogs. They let the big dogs free.

Puppies. That's a cat, i mean it's bad enough that dogs. it's horrible to do that to dogs, but baby dogs.

Yeah, i know That's even worse. It's like the hoties mean, yet They're not even like, they're not even going through the hormone changes where you have to correct them.

Puppy. Puppies are most the most fucking perfect thing on planet Earth besides, like baby elephants. Sorry, i'm just going to stop. So the following day, the larger dogs are found roaming free And the puppies body parts was strewn about as if a wild animal had broken in and ravaged them. However, the prospect of it being an animal was ruled out when they noticed footprints and the cut fence. At that point there wasn't enough evidence beyond speculation that Rod and his friends were responsible for the heinous crime at the sanctuary. Still, they were marked as suspicious of having done so, especially as far as Jaden was concerned, because he's seen him do some evil shit. Because the animal cruelty continued around town, jaden took it upon himself to serve justice by going to Rod's home with a friend to confront him. Go fucking Jaden, yeah.

Well, at least he's like standing up for what's going on at this point in the story, because you know he sees it's fucked up. He doesn't want to be involved.

He didn't just want to be involved but he was like sick And when he saw Rod do that shit to the kitten. He was like I'm done, i'm done with this shit. But then you know, after the puppy incident nobody could prove it was Rod, but he had an. Obviously after seeing that, he had a good inclination that it was him.

They knew it was him, But yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like he didn't want no parts of it. And so he's showing up at this dude's house like uh, yeah, dude, like I don't want to be a part of your group anymore, But I doubt this is going to go in any good way here. All's I know is is I think this Rod dude is probably going to take over the group.

Jaden's my kind of fucking vampire. I think he seems cool as fuck. Now I gotta know. Jaden dominated Rod by gripping his throat and pinning him against the house until the fear of potentially killing him encouraged him to let go. Jaden should have beat his head into the ground I fucking felt that way too. Jaden's coven then decided it was time to disown Rob, leaving him alone to his drugs and cruel fucking behaviors. You go, coven Abe. However, Rod took well to that cult-like mentality and decided that he'd start a coven of his own.

Mm-hmm One that Jaden couldn't rule with empathy for living things. Yeah, this is when he met Michael Schaefer Sidebar. I had a high school artist friend named Schaefer, who is very much Who has a nice B-friend named Schaefer? You do No fucking way, is that wild? No, i used to fuck around with this guy too, though. Oh, that's a lame, that's crazy. This guy was like very much an obscure guitar playing, painting hippie. In our circle of mismatched goths, punksters and oddballs Was yours also a long hair, guitar playing hippie who painted and did weird shit. No Different Schaefer, yeah. So that last name and some of these high school connotations gave me so much nostalgia, And especially playing in cemeteries and stuff. Because we did that.

Yeah, we used to like go and find mushrooms in the cemeteries, not the magic ones, but just like you know, just random mushrooms because it was fun. And then we would like prowl around the cemetery at night time like being all stupid with flashlights and taking pictures, and it was fun.

You know, Cemeteries are like museums, aren't? they Stone art with stories And they're always such well-groomed air. I just I love cemeteries, I do.

Oh girl, i've got to take you to some cemeteries and Worcester that are lit up at night. Rod and Schaefer began their own circle of outcasts 19-year-old Dane Cooper, 16-year-old Scott Anderson and 16-year-old Charity Casey Rod's girlfriend at the time. They were three willing recruits, but they were also all fucked up in their own ways. Like he took the most destroyed people to start this coven, rod thus became what he sought a vampiric leader of three teenagers from dysfunctional homes. When the group would congregate, entertaining the prospect of murdering people was a common thread. Of course we all joke about shit like that one with kids, but only Rob was actually Wait, wait, wait.

Like, yeah, okay, maybe not all of us, But you know, like if you're like a Freddy Krueger fan and Hannibal Lecter fan and you're a teenager, you weren't seriously hoping to fucking kill anyone, but it was. you know, it was something that you would sometimes joke about At least my friends and I would but we wouldn't mean it.

Yeah, but no, this was no George Carlin scene here. So let's get into the old girlfriend, because this is like where he gets the incentive to kill. So Rod became friends with his 15 year old girlfriend, heather Wendorf, at school in Eustace Florida. They met their sophomore year at Eustace High School in Florida I hope I'm pronouncing that right by the way where he and his mother moved to be with her new romance prospect, ron and Heather became best friends due to their mutual carelessness for standard lifestyles and unconventional behaviors.

Like Rod, heather didn't seem to fit in. Unlike Rod, heather seemed to have a suburban lifestyle. You know she had a cheerleader sister, a stay-at-home mom, a hardworking father who worked at a bottling company. She might have been rebellious and did what we refer to as the Spencer's Goths did dyed her hair purple, got pierced, professed. Her life was so terrible she was dead and joined the Goth culture Note, i use that term Spencer's to separate those who are organically vile with the culture often you know learning what Goth and vampire lifestyle is following a ton of synchronicities versus those who just did it to rebel against their parents and jump into a fucking trend. And there is a big difference between those two. Like I too, have shopped at Hot Topic and Spencer's, but I think there's more authenticity traversing the gray line where you're not trying, it just fits Well. I feel like everybody I'm sickened by Rod's behavior, that's true, but there's difference between forcing yourself to and the incentive behind why you're doing it, versus I really just love this shit. You know what I mean.

Yeah, but I mean, maybe because she's not coming from a place of trauma like he is so like That's what I'm saying. Yeah, like he may be doing it because he's like dark all the way to the fucking core, but her she's more like, i think, maybe just trying to rebel in general, and I think we all did. I mean, i try to rebel. I dye my hair purple and I wear fucking 64 bracelets on each arm, parachute pants and friggin-.

You are just a creative human being who doesn't fit into convention, because convention in and of itself is this destructive cesspool, society shitstorm, but And you see that and you know it for what it is and that just creates this adverse feeling and you and I speak about this all the time and when you go off on these tangents, i'm like that's my girl, that's the real shit that I'm talking about. Not doing it because just to do it, to like kind of force yourself into a puzzle piece, you don't belong. That's when you get involved with pieces of shit like this guy and think that they're doing that too. But he's really authentically dark and he's really authentically fucked up. Dude Jaden was authentically dark too, but he was awesome. This guy is a fucking sick fuck and she has no idea what the fuck she's getting herself into.

I'm getting myself into horror, though, because I've got myself into some really bad relationships with some dark ass people. So I can see her comment because I came from a pretty decent upbringing, like aside from the stuff that happened when I was younger and I don't know. I mean, i guess I did kind of the same thing and I dated those kinds of men I wouldn't say vampire dudes, but like dudes that were into some dark shit and it never ends well.

Wendy: 27:31

But like many of us teenage nightcrawlers, they'd hang out in cemeteries and sneak into mausoleums and stay out late. They even dated for a little while, but it was short-lived because his mother's relationship didn't work out and they had to return to Kentucky. However, they kept in constant touch via telephone, which became too pricey, and so they had to switch to snail mail. Do you remember those days?

I did wait. I did send a letter once. They made us have a pen pal and we had to write to a prison inmate. I guess it was like to try to lift the spirits of people who had committed crimes in prison. It was probably some crazy religious person who came up with this idea.

Tiffany: 28:11

You're fucking kidding me, i swear it's not, that was the only time I ever wrote a letter to anybody was when I had to write a letter to an inmate in prison. What did you say? Well, i was just like being nice, like oh hey, how's it going? Blah, blah, blah. You know I do this in school and like I'm in art and stuff And you know what do you like and you know dumb shit like that. In the end, like as an adult, like Looking back, i'm like dude, you could have like had me writing this on pedophile. You know what I mean. Like something.

Wendy: 28:43

So Rod claimed that Heather would often complain that her parents, richard Wendorf and Naomi Queen, were being abusive. She even said that her father had sexually abused her. This gave Rod the incentive to devise a plan to commit murder Sfucker. This is when he convinced four cult members to travel from Kentucky to Florida, intent upon recruiting Heather, who wanted to run away from home, to join their group. Keep in mind that the group were outcasts already and constantly being monitored after that sick incident at the animal sanctuary. So that made it easier for Rob to convince them to skip town.

Wendy: 29:27

Michael couldn't join them because he was sent to a behavioral treatment facility a few days before they left, but Rod, dana, scott and Charity took to the road. Upon their arrival the group contacted Heather to rendezvous with them. She provided the address and five of them met outside her parents' house. From there they left the local cemetery, heather and Rob, separated from the group for a little over an hour to take a blood oath in the form of using a razor to extract blood to fill a cup for them to drink. He changed the ritual.

Tiffany: 29:59

Yeah, I mean, I don't think I'd trust somebody to cut me open and just drink a whole cup of my blood.

Wendy: 30:05

I think I'd rather drink directly from somebody than drink cold blood from a cup of our chalice.

Tiffany: 30:11

Yeah, that's really bad for you too. You can actually hurt yourself drinking blood like that much blood.

Wendy: 30:17

Especially old blood asclostat. Oh, yes, yeah. So Heather mentioned that her parents had a Ford Explorer When they got back from this hour and a half ritual. That's when Heather mentioned that her parents had a Ford Explorer that ran better than Scott's car, which had been breaking down on its way from Kentucky to Florida, and she suggested that they steal it. Only they'd have to break in because her parents kept the keys inside. Rod decided to drop a 10 strip of acid before setting out to do so. You know I can't be sure how strong their acid was, but since that was the only heavy drug I've ever partaken, i know I was knocked on my ass for eight hours taking one strip of acid that I was given when I lived in Florida. I only did it twice. I can't begin to imagine what taking a 10 strip would even be like. Of course that would depend on how strong the acid is, but 10 seems excessive either way?

Tiffany: 31:14

Yeah, i think it is. I was never a fan of that particular kind of drug but I know that it can do some wacky things to some people. I knew a couple people that had some really bad incidents, like being in their pants and like freaking out and being transported to the hospital So, and they didn't do that much. It was like a few drops, so like I could imagine that a 10 strip would not be safe. And, first off, i wouldn't get into a Ford Explorer with somebody who just did 10 strips of acid. Right, you know what I'm saying. Like, how are they driving.

Wendy: 31:48

Well, I mean, they're going to the mother's house to steal the Ford Explorer.

Tiffany: 31:51

But I wouldn't, I wouldn't say I was getting a car with that dude.

Wendy: 31:55

Like can you imagine? Oh, we're going to break into somebody's house. Let's do it while we're completely inebriated, yeah, wow. So Farrell and Scott Anderson went into the house alone, while the girls and Dan waited in Scott's car outside. Heather's parents were unsuspecting of anything. The two of them peered through the windows before entering to search their surroundings. Richard was kicked back on the couch and Ruth was taking a shower. The two broke in through the garage door with a blue Ford Explorer they intended to steal was parked. Alas, they still needed the keys Before proceeding into the house for the keys, rod found a crowbar in the corner of the garage.

Wendy: 32:37

This is right. When the LSD started kicking in, scott noticed a conspicuous shift in Rod's demeanor, as he suggested that Scott would go after the mother and he'd go after the father. Their doors were left unlopped, so they decided to simply walk inside The living room. Television was on blast, so Richard didn't hear a thing. As Scott searched the house for Heather's parents' bedroom to find the keys, start, rod plotted a much darker scene. Rod crouched behind the couch and waited. Scott froze when he noticed Rod from the hallway with a crowbar in hand, but by that point it was too late. Beneath Rod was an unsuspecting Richard who was about to meet his end. Rod viciously drove the crowbar into Richard's head as blood splattered across the room, spraying the curtain's couch and Rod's clothes. Scott froze in utter disbelief because he'd never seen death before. He was there to commit robbery, not murder. In his defense, farrell killed Richard using the crowbar, beating him over the head more than a dozen times.

Wendy: 33:39

Once Rod was satisfied that Heather's father was dead, he continued with his intentions to find the keys as Scott stood aimlessly in shock. While searching the house, rod met Ruth in the kitchen. Ruth made a failed attempt at utilizing a hot coffee in her hands by throwing it at him to defend herself, but that sent him into a further rage. Even as she clawed his face and fought back, she was no match for Rod's youth strength and weapon. Rod struck her in the head so hard that he could hear her crack, and he kept spiking her in the back of her skull until she laid still with a massive hole in her head. Once he executed both parents, he grabbed the keys from her bedroom, stole some pearls and an antique hunting knife and proceeded outside covered in coffee and blood, as Scott followed behind. There was little question, as everyone joined in the Explorer, everyone swapped the Explorer's tags for Scott's tags and headed out quietly probably fucking terrified.

Tiffany: 34:34

Yeah, I mean, if you just witnessed somebody get there. I mean, bludgeoning is a very messy way to kill somebody. So being a teenager standing there and seeing my friend beating somebody in the head like that, it's got to be really gory and terrifying. I couldn't imagine, like, what those kids were going through. Did she know that he was going to kill her parents? I'm going to get to that. Oh, okay.

Wendy: 35:00

But I can tell you right now no, i'll get further into that later on. But no, none of them suspected that he was going to do this. They were there to steer the forward Explorer.

Tiffany: 35:11

Damn 10 strips of acid. I'm telling you because he first off, he shouldn't have did that at all. Like especially if he's got that kind of rage inside of him. But you know, whatever it happened, So there's nothing you could do about it.

Wendy: 35:24

I feel like he had this preconceived notion that he was going there to do that. I base that on the fact what he did with the puppies, what he did to the kittens, the fact that he wanted to play a superhero for his fucking you know?

Tiffany: 35:38

Yeah, I totally believe that he wanted to kill somebody, but I think that acid helps the matter. I think that kind of like accentuated it.

Wendy: 35:47

Exactly. You know what I think that acid did. I think it gave that stupid son of a bitch more balls.

Tiffany: 35:52

Wait, i said accentuate, i meant to say accelerate.

Wendy: 35:56

Definitely. It definitely accelerated his balls too, because this angry, stupid son of a bitch was used to. he didn't even want to do dogs, he was so much of a pussy he did puppies and kittens instead. So I bet that you know he needed that to grow a set of fucking balls to be a piece of shit. that would do that to the parents in the first place.

Tiffany: 36:15

Oh yeah.

Wendy: 36:15

Because they're full grown adults. Even then it was a woman, an older woman and a man laying down, so he was still being a pussy, but I still think that the acid helped him have balls this guy really didn't have, because he seems to go after, like I wouldn't say, defenseless and unassuming victims.

Tiffany: 36:33

Yeah, and especially somebody who's older too. Like he knows he has the upper hand because he's young and strong, you know.

Wendy: 36:39

Yeah, exactly The dude's laying down, and he's almost 50 years old and this guy has a crowbar over his head and he doesn't even hear a thing. you know, yeah, no, there is. no, there is no resistance. There was no fight back when it came to the man and the woman tried.

Tiffany: 36:53

He cracked them so hard and so fast like he probably just couldn't even like think to do anything at that point. Nope exactly.

Wendy: 37:01

So. On November 25th 1996 at 10.30 pm, 49 year old Richard Wendorf and 54 year old Naomi Ruth Queen were found dead in their Florida home. This is really sad. Their 17 year old daughter, Jennifer, discovered their body's bludgeon to death. Rick was found lying on the couch and Ruth on the kitchen floor. Jennifer hurriedly called 911 and she also found a goodbye letter from her 15 year old sister addressed to her parents and her. So yeah, she you know Heather was hoping her parents would read that letter.

Tiffany: 37:34

I would think if I was a sister I would have thought my sister planned it.

Wendy: 37:38

Oh her sister did think that You little psychic.

Tiffany: 37:41

Well, i mean, you know sisters like goodbye and your parents are now dead and bludgeoned to death.

Wendy: 37:46

Like I would instantly put those two things together, wait wait, i tell you this part right here because you're right. That's exactly what Jennifer did think. The first deputy on the scene was Jeff Taylor. After he inspected the body and the bloody scene, he noted that Heather and her parents' vehicle were gone. When they inquired about who'd commit such a crime, jennifer's first answer was her sister and her friends. Police found Scott's abandoned car in Seminole County, florida, with Richard Wendorf's Ford Explorer tax, further solidifying the potentiality of it being Heather and your friends.

Wendy: 38:21

After committing the murder Farrell, scott, anderson and the girls they left Florida. They crossed four different state lines as they attempted to keep a low profile from police and ensure they could start a new life in New Orleans, the city of vampires, where Rod assured them that they'd be free from mundane society and live without judgment. Holy Anne Rice, wow, in New Orleans. Huh, they were reading too many Anne Rice novels. That's what they were doing. Not that you can ever do that, god, she's amazing. So they even made several stops along the way. One of those stops, rod changed his clothes at a gas station, threw away his bloody clothes, got gas and purchased food. Let's just stop to consider how much evidence was left in their wake, though I mean they were already suspect for a ton of reasons. They didn't leave a clean crime scene behind and they were actually rolling around in the victim's stolen fucking vehicle.

Oh yeah, I mean, there are shits all over that car.

Wendy: 39:18

Yeah, of course they were eventually arrested in Baton Rouge. Silly children who rely upon their parents and have yet to learn to clean up after themselves aren't really cut out to be vigilantes. Charity contacted her mother asking for money, thereby informing the police of their location and where they were planning on staying.

Tiffany: 39:37

Wow, now, i don't think true blood was out at this time. No, please. But that was in Louisiana. So I was like at first, that's what I was thinking when you said New Orleans. And then I'm like wait, true blood wasn't out until like 2000 and something right.

Wendy: 39:52

Well, I didn't like the True Blood series. I'm one of those freaks because every like Robbie and Bart upstairs they loved it. I don't know when it came out. I didn't see it until quarantine of 2020.

Tiffany: 40:04

Why did you watch it And I liked it. But I didn't like it in the beginning because it was cheesy, but, like after a while, I got into it.

Wendy: 40:10

I couldn't sit through the cheesiness long enough because, you know me, i don't watch a lot of shows, so it really got to suck me in.

The officers were naturally awaiting their arrival. Farrell admitted to the killings and while the others confessed to knowing part of the plan to murder the couple, he maintained that that was never the plan. Instead, farrell said that he was simply trying to steal their car so that they could use it to rescue Heather Wendorf from what they believed to be an abuse of home. He also attempted to blame drugs and the adrenaline from the situation for losing his self-control. Yet these two victims were peacefully going about their daily lives when he violated the sanctity of their home. Also, he was a known violent piece of shit with that false sense of grandeur. It was only a matter of time before he switched from defenseless kittens and puppies to humans. After his arrest, he described the events to law enforcement and later to journalists, without any remorse or any indication that he was psychologically impacted by having beaten two human beings to death. Farrell told the police the killings were a rush and that he felt like a god Spoken like a true psychopath, mm-hmm.

On February 12th 1998, then 17-year-old Farrell pleaded guilty to the murders, claiming that the others were traveling, were innocent, except for Scott Anderson, who was simply an accessory. Farrell pleaded guilty to two counts of felony murder. His attorneys tried to argue that he was insane and he has been diagnosed with mental disorders, including which I've never heard of this before schizo-typal uh, schizo-typal personality disorder. Oh yeah.

And Osberg, you have heard of that. Well, we talked about. actually, we did talk about it. You did hear about it, but you forgot. We talked about it in the um Jeffrey Dahmer case.

Oh, yes, that's right, it's been a minute And, um, i think I was like out of state when you and I did that case and there was a lot of shit going on. But yeah, i can, i do remember it now. Yeah, it's schizoid, typical.

Schizoid, typical. Oh my God. Yes, when you pronounce it right, i really fucking remember it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, uh, thanks for that. And he has Asperger's syndrome. Um, the University of Florida further attested that Rod could sometimes witness spiritual things like angels and demons. However, judge Jerry T Lockett's sentence fell to death. Charity was convicted on two counts of third degree murder, robbery with a gun and a deadly weapon and a burglary armed with a weapon or explosive. She was sentenced to 10.5 years in state prison. Anderson was convicted of the same charges as Farrell and was sentenced to life in prison For two years. Farrell actually held the record as the youngest inmate on death row, until November of 2000. And how old was he? He was 17 years old?

Okay, yeah, he was young, did he? so he got tried as an adult. Yeah, he did.

Good. The 55 page decision written by Circuit Judge G Richard um in Lake County and posted online on April 7th, concluded Farrell, who was 40 at the time that this was done, was not entitled to the relief granted to other teen killers, in light of a 2016 Supreme Court ruling that said a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole for juvenile is cruel and unusual punishment. The judge concluded that Farrell was irreparably corrupt. What did you think of that?

Tiffany: 43:37

That's a wild story, and I did hear that before. I forgot a lot of stuff. I did forget a lot of stuff, but schizoid, typical personality disorders, like it's schizoid traits. Basically, we talked about it with the Jeffrey Dahmer case. So the schizoid personality disorder was people that avoid like social interactions and social activities, which you could say I have that because I had friggin hate being around people, but, um, but they also have a limited range of emotional expression. So, and that's why Jeffrey Dahmer was diagnosed with it, he doesn't seem like that though.

He didn't seem like he had Asperger's either, because he was very cunning and he was able to charm people into following him. You know, but again it was ruled out. You know, this is just what they were attempting to use.

Yeah, but a lot of autistic traits fall with schizoid personality disorder, because I'm looking at a diagram right now and it has, like the two circles in the middle There's, you know, the ones that are common among both, and it says here that the flat effect social difficulties in withdrawal, difficulty with eye contact, motivation difficulties easily overwhelmed with positive emotion, high need for a loan time, genetic and neurological similarities often feels more like an observer than a participant and higher likelihood of being asexual or aromantic. and rigid cognitive patterns.

You know it's possible. I think that I'm telling you I do tend to gravitate towards autistic people too. I absolutely love them, and some of my friends have children, and my favorite of their children are autistic too Well guess what?

There's so many people. You don't even know it. You don't know it.

Well, it's lucky that they're better. well, at least up. you know, in this area they're really good at picking that up. One of my offspring is autistic and two of my best friends have young autistic sons, and I love them. They are amazing. So you know what this kind of makes me think of Tiff, and I don't just I don't mean just, not not what we're talking about, but the case in totality is not anubis when I say light bringer, but there are people who relish in the dark without losing their sensitivity and their empathy, and I feel like you know they bring this light within them, which is how they don't get lost in the dark when they enjoy those types of things. And then there are those who are apathetic and remorseless at their core. So when they get lost in the darkness, there's no contrast and they don't have that strength that comes with the contrast, and so they become these psychopathic fucking sacks of shit.

Yeah, i mean, trauma does bring about those two types of people people that are overtly sensitive and people that are overtly unsensitive.

I feel like I'm too fucking sensitive sometimes, but I can put on. I can put on a really good poise when necessary. And when Jayden did that, i was like you know what you sound like one of my friends.

Yeah, i'm glad he did like kick him out of the group or whatever, because he didn't need to be in there. That kid seemed like he had a better head on his shoulders and he was just like a decent person. And they, you know, just like getting into weird shit, which is fine. But you know, i don't judge anybody Like I don't judge them. Like you do what you do. You know everybody does different things and occult stuff is fine, i don't care. You know what I mean. As long as you're not hurting anyone with what you're doing, then everything's good, you know? Yeah, you're right.
